My first blog. I think this will be fun. I might even start a new one on writing my parents life story. And the struggle it is to get them to open up, even though they love the idea.
I see in your About Me, you're originally from Oklahoma. Where are you from? I lived in Shawnee for 4 years and then Norman for 1 year for college and graduate work before coming back home to Kansas. I miss that state!
Hi Beckye! I too like the idea of using a blog to tell your parents story. Don't you think we learn about ourselves when we get to know our parents better?

I still consider myself middle age. I have been married for 27 years to a wonderful man who I can say I am still in love with. We moved to Kansas 5 years ago after living our entire life in Oklahoma. I love my job at Southeast Kansas Library System, I work with some great people.
